Suntainable (2023)
Suntainable is a company with the noble aim of enabling crowdfunding for solar panels. Their broker app connects investors and proprietors who have area available to place solar panels. Both parties receive a portion from the profit generated by the sun.
The logo was designed with the brand image and their colour palette in mind.
It also needed to be suitable as an app icon, evoke trust, and it needed to convey that the company is about spreading the profit (and joy) of solar energy.
Suntainable requested that the following concepts were included: solar energy and sharing. The logo has an ambiguous design: it is both a smiling sun and a Schuko plug.
The sun's rays are reminiscent of a bloomed flower or an open hand.
